Day 2 Grayville, Illinois

Our second day consisted of watching movies on the bus and continuing the Spades battle. It was a long six hour bus ride from Tellico Village to Grayville, Illinois. The evening concert was held at the First Baptist Church and the congregation was very interested in our handbells. They had never had an opportunity to hear a handbell performance and thought the sound was uniquely beautiful.
Tula says about the second host home family on this tour," They were really nice. They had three daughters and we played apples to apples. The family had a hair cutting shop in their basement which was pretty cool. I think having host home families are a good idea because you get to meet new people and learn about different people across the country."
Jennifer says about the second concert,"It feels like we are coming together now as a choir."
